FINALLY FRIDAY! IT'S HERE AGAIN GUS GET UP!
H O O R A Y It's FRIDAY. I'm just a little happy about that.Today brings wor****il about 2PM. Then it is off to Loma Linda for iron infusion #4. I'm so glad this hopefully will be the last one for a good long while. Won't know for sure until I see the hemotologist next month, but I'm keeping a positive outlook and saying that yes it will be the last one for at least a year.
Tomorrow brings tax class all day and then being as we will already be down in the OC, I think Mike and I will probably head over to Disney for a few hours. It's so nice having the annual passes we got. We can go anytime we want. I just love it. Disney has to be one of my very favorite places. There is a reason they call it the happiest place on earth.
Sunday is breakfast with some friends and then I think the rest of the day will be some cleaning and laundry. Mike has some kayaks and bicycles he wants to sell so he wants to take some pictures and get them up on Craigs List or Ebay or both. I'm not sure. It will be nice to get some of that stuff out of the house though. OK, so out of the garage. But he has 5 kayaks. No one needs 5 kayaks. Well , ok Mr. Mikey thinks he does, but he also thinks he'd rather have the money that selling a few of them will bring.
Think it's time for another cup of coffee for me and to get busy doing some work here. Everyone have a great time at Tom's Farm. It is a really nice place to just visit with friends. Sorry we are going to miss it this year. Have a great weekend though, whatever your plans are and in the excitement of the weekend with all you have to do, be sure to leave some time to do something nice just for yourself.

How is everyone today? As for me, last night our new roomie arrived. We got some of her stuff put away and then sat and chit chatted some. With Becky being here I am hopeful to learn more about new receipes and keeping on track better.
Tomorrow is Tom's farm. I can't wait to see everyone. There are some wonderful people out there, and some not, but I don't hang around those. I will be sitting down tomorrow most of the day, so please if you see me, and you can't miss me, come up and say HI. I didn't go to therapy yesterday, I did alot of stuff here at home, and I am getting some good tingles in my foot. So nice to not have that nurse coming everyday and not to have to have any dressings on my back,
Rhonda, if you go to that discount place, I am going too. I have got to see this. Speaking of discount, went last week and got a few more new tops for me, YES they are smaller ladies, not loosy goosy like I love to wear.
It's off to the shower, I am having lunch with my BFF Lisa today. It's been a long time since I have seen her, and she is coming to pick me up because I still don't drive...too many drugs still. OK kids, have a great day and SEE MOST OF YOU TOMORROW,

Today is going to be pretty chill. Have a doctor's appointment down the hill and then will be going to Target to get a new TV table for the new TV that's being delivered tomorrow. Looking forward to spending time with my hubbie.
Tomorrow I am going to be waking up at the crack of dawn
to make it out to Tom's Farm on time. A little nervous since I won't know anyone but I AM DETERMINED TO GO. I will be on my own since my husband has to wait for the delivery of the new TV. Just another opportunity to pull up my big girl panties...

Friday took forever to get here this week. I wish I could go to Tom's Farm this weekend but I don't have a car yet and I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow. I really wanted to go because I am in desperate need of clothes. I haven't gone to Tom's Farm in a few years but the year I went, it was tons of fun. Oh well...maybe next year.
All I am doing this weekend is the baby shower tomorrow and church on Sunday. The rest of the weekend is relaxing this back. I am trying to get a friend to take me to the docs but she has been busy. I hate bugging people for rides. I can't wait until I can get a car soon. The bus system in Victorville is horrible. They only run every hour and you have to take at least 2 buses to get anywhere. They don't give you a transfer pass so everytime you walk on a bus, you have to pay. I only have to put up with this until I get my taxes back at the beginning of the year then I am getting myself a car.

Man, all this talk about Tom's Farms and getting together and laughing and peeing your pants...after pulling them up of course....I am so jealous! We Northern gals had a good time at Apple Hill but only 9 of us showed..and 3 of that was husbands! LOL I've been trying to get something going here in greater Sacramento....I KNOW there are lurkers out there!
Today is work but camping is on the agenda again this weekend ^_^ The m/h is back in the shop getting the cab heater fixed; yesterday was the horn, cruise control, oil change and lube, radiator and transmission fluids cleaned and refilled. After we got it home from the shop, our outside mechanic came to the house and repaired the toilet that leaked last weekend. Still need to get the cab a/c working but figure that can wait until next spring..don't think I'll be using it anytime soon...our Fall weather is soooo nice...mid 60's to 70's PERFECT!
Going back to the same camp ground as last weekend...only an hour away. We'll hit the pool table again, probably play a game or two of miniature golf and I'll get my walks in with the dogs, mile and a quarter around the lake. Lon's talking about taking some fishing poles to try out the bass fishing in the lake...we'll probably end up with blue gills or some other tiny fish...Bass are too smart to get caught! LOL
Well, back to work...I hate bank reconciliations, especially all the credit cards ughhhhhhh. Oh well, my day will go faster when I'm concentrating. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!

It is a very beautiful day with a little crispness in the air.
I will not be attending the Tom's Farm event but hope everyone has a wonderful time with old and new friends.
Tonight my DH and I are headed to the Downey Football game to see our niece cheer. She is a senior and this is her last home game. It's also Senior night and they have something planned for the parents.
Tomorrow - my DH and I will be going to dinner at a place called Firestation 18 (I think this is the name) then off to see Anita Baker in concert at the Nokia Theatre.
Sunday I will get to meet a new friend in person from the OH boards. She is bring me some clothes that should fit or will fit very, very soon. Thanks Lisa, looking forward to meeting you on Sunday.

Tomorrow, Tom's Farm. I cannot wait. I wonder how long it will take me to get there? Never have driven to Corona before. In the evening I will be hanging out with some friends. Good times.
Sunday, I think I have a movie meetup scheduled. I will probably swing by my cousin's house (especially if she is cooking).
This morning, I was late to work because I went to the Rent Stabilization office to file a formal complaint against the owner and the manager of the apartment building where I live in regards to the parking situation. I keep getting excuse after excuse as to why I don't have a parking space. One lady has two spaces and is subleasing one to someone who don't even live in the building. Another space (in the back) is being rented out for grocery carts of Mexican crackers in bags. No regards to a paying tenant with a car. Just like a told the lady this morning, being the only African -American in the building, I feel like I am being discriminated against.
If this doe not work out, I will file a complaint with the Department of Fair Housing. I hate this!
Anyway, looking forward to a fun weekend.
